We have arrived back to the store after a wonderfully inspiring buying trip to CHA. It was so nice to feel the sunshine while visiting the Los Angeles area--the weather this time was much more welcoming than last year's trip. After thinking about all the wonderful product we saw and purchased, I always like to think back on any trendspotting. Butterflies are certainly everywhere this year and so is Tim Holtz. Pink Paislee had a very nice release and butterflies played a huge part in it. Turning paper into fashion was also a popular trend in many booth displays...
Prima, as usual, has loads of beautiful products heading our way. Their booth is always a highlight--combine gourgeous product, stunning samples and adorable paper/ribbon dress stands and you have one heck of a booth! Here are a few snapshots of some samples in the Prima booth...
Tim Holtz's booth is always full of extreme eye-candy and this year was no exception. The samples in the booth are always to die-for and they make you want to get home and create, create, create...
The above photo is actually created using three configurations--very clever!
Deanna's fave find--a mini tape gun for Tim's tissue tapes, say that five times fast! Stay tuned for more fabulous finds from CHA 2011.

There was so much eye candy on the CHA Show floor today--where to begin? One of the highlights of today would have to be the Tim Holtz Booth---is that really a surprise? We are drooling over all the new products that will be hitting our shelves soon. I am experiencing a bit of technical difficulties with our internet connection this evening. Will be back tomorrow evening to try posting pics again--sorry. -

It is that time of year and we are in sunny California preparing to attend the Craft and Hobby Trade Show in Los Angeles. This time of year is always exciting because it means we get to see the latest and greatest that the paper crafting industry has to offer. So the story starts yesterday with us heading to the L.A Convention Center for a day of learning with Tim Holtz. After an early start we were there bright and early enough to see this rolling on in...
We were fortunate to be a part of a Mini Educational Program with the uber-creative Tim. A huge thank you to Mr. Holtz and Ranger for giving us all the wonderful opportunity.
Time to sit down and get started...
Our day consisted of learning the ins and outs of all the glorious products that exist in Tim's creative universe. Who wouldn't want to play with Alcohol Inks, Distress Inking products and a long list of other amazing products? Cannot wait to receive all of Tim's new releases--loving the Distress Stain!
Took a spin with a few distress inks through out the day--what would we do without these staples? Here is our finished project, a series of 25 tags filled with technique. We will leave these samples in the Store and looking forward to sharing this inspiration with our wonderful customers.
This is our first post from CHA Winter 2011, so pop in each day and we will share all the wonderful treasures we find on the show floor. Thank you for visiting and see you soon.
