Bo Bunny is running a super fun contest at the moment-- think Flat Stanley only cuter. I have posted the rules of the contest below. Here at Clipper Street we would love to play along, so bring in your invitation and we will give you our business card. Need any help or have any questions don't hesitate to let us know! Details from Flat Bunny:

I am anxious to get acquainted with true BoBunny fans at a BoBunny sponsored crop. When I comes to visit, I will bring materials for a BoBunny crop! If you coordinate with a BoBunny retail store, I will bring materials so you can invite 9 of your friends to the crop for a total of 10. If there is not a retail store within a 50 mile radius, I will come with material for you and 4 friends to enjoy!

What you need to do-
1. Create an invitation featuring BoBunny products and send a digital image to flatbunny@bobunny.com along with signed business card from your favorite BoBunny retail store.*

2. I will post the card images I receive on the BoBunny blog (you will be famous!).

3. On the 10th of each month, I will choose my favorite invitation and schedule my travel to meet the winning designer.

4. I like to be fussed over so you must take lots of pictures during the Crop and send them to flatbunny@bobunny.com. This way all of my BoBunny friends will be able to follow my adventures on the BoBunny blog.

5. I will be traveling to a new location every month so I must be on my way home no later than the last day of the month. Also, I have my passport so I can travel far and wide.

Chalkboard Glimmer Mist---it's here!

 

We have been so excited to receive this stuff. At Clipper Street we are proud to say we are Glimmer Mist ADDICTS! So when they released a bunch of new product at CHA Winter we were thrilled. The Chalk Board Glimmer Mist offers the same glimmery sparkle of Glimmer Mist, but has an opaque finish.

Echo Park Paper

I must admit I am always thrilled when a new Company emerges on the Scrapbooking horizon...especially when they design YUMMY paper in an assortment of F-U-N colours! Perfect for scrapbooking your family's summer photos. Clipper Street should be receiving an assortment of Echo Park goodness next week and I am excited to see it. Do you know what inspired this company's name? Well, the Film Industry was originally based in Echo Park (a neighbourhood in Los Angeles,CA) before it moved and expanded in Hollywood,CA.

We are a "Featured Bunny"

Here at Clipper Street we have always joked about being "Clipper Chicks" and now we can say we are bunnies too. We were very happy to be asked to be the first "featured bunny" on Bo Bunny's Blog. stretching your creative muscles...

Classes are truly the best way to get your creative juices flowing. We all hit a roadblock every once and a while, don't we? At Clipper Street we try to offer a variety of classes to suit a wide range of customers. I would like to introduce you to a new Instructor and a new class. Jen, recently joined Clipper Street as an Instructor and her class is the perfect way to jump out of the "box" and try something new. Her class is called Metamorphosis: Mixed Media Workshop and you will be creating two mini canvases.

 

 
Do you have a hidden desire to step out of the 'box' and try something new? Then this is the class for you. Come spread your wings and create this easy and adorable mixed media project. You will try some new mediums, make you own paper choices and finish the project off with a photo face for a personal touch or learn to draw a simple expressive face. Classes to Go

We have had a lot of interest in our Class-to-Go option and I wanted to explain this great option. So many customers have wanted to take a class and due to scheduling conflicts were unable to. As a solution, we thought we would offer the Class-to-Go option. If you visit our website Clipper Street and take a look at our classes, you will be able to find out if the class you are looking at is available as a to-go option. If the class is heavily technique based or does not work as a Class-to-Go it will tell you in the description. When purchasing a Class-to-Go you will receive the Kit, instructions and pictures of the project. You are free to work on it at home or come into the Store to work on it when the classroom is free. Just another way to fit your favourite class into your busy schedule.

It was a very Happy International Scrapbook Day!

We had a full house for our NSD Crop on Saturday, May 1st. It was a fun day, full of papercrafting and getting together with friends. We are certainly very fortunate to have a great family of customers and we love spending the day/night with all of you.

Since it was National Scrapbook Day, it seemed like the perfect time to draw the winner of a gift bag we had put together. Entries were handed out at the Sewing and Crafts Show in Abbotsford and customers brought them into our Store to be entered to win a fully-stocked Gift Bag. As chance would have it the winner was actually in our classroom attending the All Day Crop! Congratulations Victoria--hope you are enjoying your goodies!
